1st John 5: 14."And this is the confidence that we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. "And this is the confidence that we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us."
Hebrews 14: 16 " Let us, therefore, approach the throne of grace with boldness so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. "
Matthew 7: 7-9 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." "Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?"
God has promised to answer our prayers if we pray according to His will, which is outlined in Luke 6:11 when Jesus instructed His disciples on how to pray. We need to honor Him with praise and gratitude for all His past goodness and seek forgiveness for our sins. There should be no self-justification.
We must pray in faith, for without it, we can not please God. James 1:6-8. "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. "
Pray with the belief that you will receive. As you seek God, keep in mind that He rewards those who earnestly pursue Him. We should pray in the name of Jesus Christ, who reconciled us to the Father through His death on the cross. He is a Rewarder, indicating that He owes no one anything. Romans 8: 32."He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" He has not asked His people to seek Him in vain. Isaiah 45:19. Furthermore, He says, “Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Matt. 7:7. And in Jeremiah 33:3 he declares,” Call unto me and I will answer... “
God has the wisdom to know when and how to answer prayers and He always keeps His promises. The Book of Proverbs says, “The expectation of the righteous shall not be cut off” Pr. 23:18; 24:14. We are told in 2 Corinthians 2:16 that we have the mind of Christ to instruct us. Ask the Holy Spirit how you should pray and what to ask in prayer so you don't ask amiss. "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." James 4:3
May we all have our prayers answered in time in Jesus' mighty name .
